Writing

I have been a published writer under my own name since 2023. My fiction has appeared on recommended reading lists by Locus and Reactor, and has been published in a variety of national and international markets. My nonfiction work has appeared in venues including Harper’s Bazaar.

Working in speculative genres as well as traditional literary styles, my short and long fiction explores themes of isolation, community, and identity. My writing is informed by my extensive experience as a teacher, international traveler, and musician as well as my identity as a queer woman living in Kansas. I have performed public readings of my work for communities including the Kansas Authors Club and the Queer Voices series for Lawrence PRIDE.
